The only bike I’ve ever owned, was a little 1972 Honda CB250. It had just over 5,000 miles on it and hadn’t been driven in over 10 years. My dad always talked about fixing it up, but never had the chance, so I finally bought it from him for a couple hundred bucks and got it into my garage to wrench on. Just a few months later, however, I moved across the country and had to sell the bike to a friend. Considering what the bike could have ended up looking like as a custom, I should have kept it.
