Design is always moving and fluctuating. As a designer, it’s something that you have to learn to adapt to and work with. Since starting work with The Resurgence last year, we’ve had many changes come down the pipeline, which eventually shifted the way I adapted our designs, starting with the early graphics that I produced until the end of January:
Flexibility is a huge part of design, and while I originally started working at The Resurgence creating individual graphics for each post, I soon realized that this process was too time consuming when we often needed to put out several posts a day. Moving away from the vintage feel, we headed towards a more solidified, straight forward way to convey our messages, which I produced until February:
Branding is all about creating patterns that establish trust and build image. However, this isn’t done through one central message, but rather many small ones that all point back to what your company is all about. We’ve finally solidified the design (for now) in straight forward, desaturated, text-overlayed, images which point to our central content and allow users to become immersed in the text:
